DOE Underground Injection Control Monitoring and Reporting

Bow Engineering is contracted for the monitoring and reporting of 181 seepage pits operated by 39 schools under the Department of Education on all islands.  The monitoring includes assisting school personnel to perform weekly visual inspections, performing monthly visual inspections, and conducting annual physical inspections that involve flow-versus-head testing.  We are responsible for preparing and submitting the detailed annual status reports to the state Department of Health in the continuing UIC compliance with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency mandate.  In addition to monitoring and reporting, our scope of work includes the renewal and upkeep of UIC permits, inventory and documentation for each school.
